There’s just something about summer rain. Even after planning an outdoor activity, you just can’t be upset when the day arrives and you see, smell and feel the summer rain.
This proved not only to be true, but to be a blessing in disguise when I joined team members from East Cape Tours on a site visit to our hometown’s very own Kragga Kamma Game Park.
Throughout our 2-hour game drive our guide, Terri, educated, enlightened and entertained us, and we spotted at least 14 different animal species with her. The driver, Maxwell, showed us the benefits of a game drive over a self-drive safari, taking us off-road and up-close to the many beautiful creatures.
If I were to document the whole trip, I would run out of time and never quite finish. So read further to find out about the awe-inspiring highlights we never could have anticipated and why you need to visit this intimate and heart-filled game park yourself.
