If you’ve ever been on an African safari, you’ll know that the sounds of the bush are pure magic.
From the roar of a lion, to the mighty trumpet of an elephant; the chirp of crickets to the hoot of an owl, Africa’s wild animals are talented musicians, and the sounds they produce are like the melodious tunes of an orchestra. Together, they produce a symphony of sounds so unique, they can only be found here in Africa.
We love listening to the sounds of the bush on game drives and walking safaris. In honour of World Music Day on 21 June, we’ve highlighted a few of our favourite wild animals and the sounds they make.
